About wine

Grape wine is a beverage produced by alcoholic fermentation of mash (crushed grapes) or must extracted from grapes of grapevine. Our wine law classifies wines according to ripeness of grapes used for production, namely to grape table wine, country, quality, attributive and special wine.

Quality wine is divided into two cathegories: quality varietal wine and quality brand wine.

Wine with attribute is divided into kabinet, late harvest, special selection of grapes, special selection of berries and special selection of botrytis-affected noble berries.

Special Straw and Ice wine.

According to the method of processing, the wine is further classified and referred to as dessert, spiced dessert, sparkling and carbonated wine.
